Iran claims to have simultaneously struck four U.S. military bases.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran announced on the evening of March 15 local time that the Revolutionary Guard Navy had carried out "precise and destructive" strikes on four US air bases in the region simultaneously in the early morning of the same day. The announcement stated that during the operation, the Revolutionary Guard Navy's missile and drone units used various types of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and various attack drones equipped with new warheads to attack the command and control centers, air traffic control towers, hangars, warehouses, and logistical facilities inside the US air bases in Al Dhafra in the United Arab Emirates, Udeid in Kuwait, Ali Salim in Kuwait, and Sheikh Isa in Bahrain. According to satellite images, "more than 80% of the strategic radars and critical facilities of the US bases have been destroyed."
