2026 Shanghai Global Investment Promotion Conference and "Invest in Shanghai" Activity Week Grand Opening

The 2026 Shanghai Global Investment Promotion Conference and "Investing in Shanghai" Activity Week officially opened on March 14th. This conference, with the theme of "Springing up in Shanghai, Leading the Future", is held at the Shanghai Oriental Hub International Business Cooperation Zone, which is a new landmark for China's opening-up. During the conference, a series of activities under the theme of "1+2+N+X" will be held, including: one high-level promotion meeting showcasing Shanghai's key development directions and investment opportunities during the 15th Five-Year Plan period; two government-enterprise roundtable meetings to promote in-depth exchanges between technology innovation companies, key foreign-funded enterprises, and others; multiple negotiation and matchmaking events with the establishment of an "Investing in Shanghai Reception Room" to facilitate one-stop in-depth communication between government, enterprises, and investors; and multiple theme investment promotion activities to promote the leading industry's characteristic policies in collaboration between city and district to showcase the advantages of industrial cluster development.
