Partial evacuation of the central district of the capital of Qatar

According to Reuters quoting eyewitness reports, early this morning local time, Qatar evacuated parts of the Mushayrib district in downtown Doha, the capital city. This area includes government office buildings and the office of Google's American company. Witnesses also claimed that parts of the Education City in Doha were evacuated, where there are branch campuses of six American universities. It is reported that the evacuation order was issued after the Qatari Interior Ministry announced that "as a temporary preventive measure, several designated areas are being evacuated," but the Ministry did not specify the exact areas.
