Brazil launches anti-dumping investigation into graphite electrodes related to China.

On March 12, the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services of Brazil issued Public Notice No. 18 of 2026, initiating an anti-dumping investigation on graphite electrodes originating from China and India, in response to an application submitted by the Brazilian company Graftech Brasil Participaes Ltda. on July 31, 2025. The products under investigation have the NCM code 8545.11.00. The dumping investigation period for this case is from April 2024 to March 2025, and the injury investigation period is from April 2020 to March 2025. The notice takes effect from the date of publication.
