Data monitoring from the National Network and Information Security Information Sharing and Analysis Center shows that there are currently over 200,000 active OpenClaw internet assets globally, of which about 23,000 are active domestically. These assets are experiencing explosive growth, mainly concentrated in internet resource-intensive areas such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Sichuan, and Jiangsu. A large number of OpenClaw assets exposed to the internet have significant security risks and are highly vulnerable to becoming key targets for cyber attacks. Among them, the behavior of these intelligent agents is uncontrollable, making them difficult to manage. OpenClaw intelligent agents are prone to losing control over permissions during the execution of commands, leading to unauthorized task execution and ignoring user instructions. This could result in significant economic losses, such as deletion of user data, theft of user information, or hijacking of user terminal devices.
