On the 13th, it was learned from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Health Insurance Bureau that since the "14th Five-Year Plan", Guangxi has focused on the concerns of the people's reproductive security, using "improve benefits, expand coverage, and enhance services" as the key points, continuously optimizing the maternity insurance policy to effectively reduce the burden on families, and help build a reproductive-friendly society. It is introduced that Guangxi has unified the maternity insurance policy across the region, eliminating regional disparities in benefits, allowing all residents in the region to enjoy fair reproductive security. Guangxi has increased the reimbursement amount for maternity medical expenses, with the reimbursement for single full-term delivery and difficult delivery being raised by 1500 yuan compared to before, with a maximum reimbursement of 4500 yuan and 5500 yuan; prenatal examination costs are included in the reimbursement, and after reaching the ceiling of 1500 yuan for reimbursement, if there is still a surplus in the employees' general outpatient pooling quota, it can continue to be used. Guangxi has also included 12 assisted reproductive technologies such as "embryo transplantation" for test-tube babies and "painless delivery" techniques in medical insurance reimbursement. Since the implementation of the assisted reproductive technology into the medical insurance policy two years ago, the medical insurance fund has spent 651 million yuan, benefiting 325,000 people, with a reimbursement rate of 58.13%. Guangxi has extended the period for the distribution of maternity allowances, allowing female insured workers who give birth to a third child to receive 158 days of maternity allowance, and in the case of difficult delivery or multiple births, they can each increase by 15 days on the basis of 158 days, up to a maximum of 188 days.
