The European green bond market welcomes a rare "Millennium Bond"

Denmark's cable technology company NKT A/S has sold 150 million euros of 1000-year green hybrid bonds, which can be redeemed after four years. The bond has a priced coupon rate of 5%, lowered by about 62.5 basis points from the initial indication, attracting over 500 million euros of investor subscriptions. In the green bond market, NKT's issuance of this kind is extremely rare, with only a few borrowers issuing 1000-year euro green bonds before.
