The UK Maritime Trade Operations Office issued a notice stating that three commercial ships were attacked in the Arabian Gulf in the past 24 hours, indicating that the scope of maritime interference operations is expanding beyond traffic corridors such as the Strait of Hormuz. The oil tankers "Zefyros" and "Safesea Vishnu", as well as the container ship "Source Blessing", were hit by unidentified projectiles. UKMTO stated that since the start of the conflict on March 1st, there have been over 20 incidents involving commercial ships and offshore infrastructure in the Arabian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, and Gulf of Oman.
