Anthropic seeks court to postpone the Pentagon supply chain risk determination.

American artificial intelligence company Anthropic on Wednesday asked the US Court of Appeals to temporarily stay the Pentagon's decision to designate the company as a supply chain risk entity under a broader law pending judicial review of the case. In documents filed with the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, Anthropic stated that the Pentagon's decision would cause "irreparable harm" to the company. Anthropic also filed a lawsuit in a federal court in California seeking to block the Pentagon from placing it on a national security blacklist.
