Toyota to recall some imported vehicles.

Earlier, Toyota Motor Investment Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the "Regulations on the Management of Recalling Defective Automobile Products" and the "Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Management of Recalling Defective Automobile Products." Recall number S2026M0028V: with immediate effect, a total of 40 imported TOYOTASUPRA 2.0T cars produced between March 2, 2021, and September 29, 2022, are being recalled. Some vehicles within the scope of this recall may experience abnormal wear inside the starter motor due to manufacturing reasons after multiple starts, leading to difficulties in starting the vehicle. In extreme cases, it could potentially cause a short circuit inside the starter motor, local overheating, and a risk of fire.
