February's registration of securities private equity funds have surged.
Incremental funds are continuing to flow into the capital market. According to the latest data from the Private Equity Network, in February, there were a total of 722 newly registered private equity securities investment funds, with 1366 funds in total. This marks a significant increase of 151.57% compared to the 543 funds in February 2025, and a 100.88% increase compared to the 680 funds in January of this year. In terms of newly registered product strategies, stock strategies dominate. According to the Private Equity Network statistics, in February, the number of newly registered private equity funds focusing on stock strategies reached 900, accounting for 65.89%. During the same period, multi-asset strategy private equity funds ranked second with 200 newly registered funds, accounting for 14.64%. The number of newly registered private equity funds focusing on futures and derivatives strategies was 154, accounting for over 10%, while the number of newly registered private equity funds focusing on portfolio funds, bond strategies, and other strategies were all less than 50, accounting for less than 4% each.
