The Iranian Foreign Minister says the new supreme leader will not negotiate with the United States.

On March 9th local time, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi stated in an interview with the American Public Broadcasting Corporation that he did not believe that Iran's new Supreme Leader would consider holding dialogue with the United States or renegotiating. Araghchi emphasized that the slowdown, or even halt, of oil production and transportation in the Middle East has made the region unsafe, and the responsibility for this lies with the United States and Israel. Iran is not responsible for this, as it is a "war imposed on Iran", and Iran's actions are only "legitimate and rightful self-defense".
