Microsoft (MSFT.O) is launching a new office software package aimed at attracting more users to use its artificial intelligence tools in office settings. The E7 suite is priced at $99 per user per month, a 65% increase from Microsoft's previous flagship suite. The suite will include common tools like Word and Excel, as well as the company's Copilot AI assistant and a feature that allows administrators to assess the usage of AI within the company. Microsoft stated in January of this year that over 450 million enterprise users were paying for its office software, but only about 3% of users were also paying for Copilot.
