Minister of Culture and Tourism: By 2025, the number of inbound tourists to China will exceed 1.5 billion.

Minister of Culture and Tourism, Sun Yi said at the press conference on people's livelihood during the fourth session of the 14th National People's Congress on March 7 that the Chinese government has rolled out a series of policies to promote the prosperity of the inbound tourism market. By 2025, the number of inbound tourists to China will exceed 150 million, with a year-on-year growth of over 17%, spending over 130 billion US dollars; of which more than 30 million foreign visitors will enter the country without a visa.
