Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization Kitack Lim expressed shock and sadness over the attack on ships in the Strait of Hormuz on the 6th, which resulted in at least 4 sailors killed and 3 seriously injured. The International Maritime Organization issued a statement indicating that two sailors had died in a previous incident in the region, and one was missing. Currently, approximately 20,000 sailors are still trapped in the Gulf region, facing escalating safety risks and immense psychological pressure.
