Our country's research team has developed new technology to create a new paradigm for "fluid sealing" in heart interventional treatment.

The original research achievement of left atrial appendage closure using magnetic fluid by the team led by Pan Xiangbin from the Fuwai Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, in collaboration with the team led by Xu Tiantian from the Shenzhen Advanced Technology Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has for the first time achieved a new strategy for in-situ closure of the left atrial appendage based on magnetic fluid materials. This marks a new stage in interventional treatment of heart diseases, transitioning from "solid adaptation" to "fluid occlusion", and will bring a new Chinese solution for patients with atrial fibrillation.
