Shen Danyang: This year, we will make greater efforts to solve the problem of overdue payments to enterprises.

On March 5th, Shen Danyang, the head of the drafting group of the government work report and the director of the State Council Research Office, stated at a press conference that this year efforts will be increased to solve the issue of overdue payments to enterprises. Special bond quotas will continue to be coordinated to support debt collection. At the same time, supporting policies for ensuring payment of funds to small and medium-sized enterprises will be issued, urging central and state-owned enterprises to take the lead in fulfilling payment responsibilities, strengthening the standardized management of bills, revenue accounts, electronic certificates, and pushing for better results in debt collection work.
