The White House submits nomination for the next chair of the Federal Reserve to the Senate.

The White House announced on the 4th that it has submitted to the Senate nomination of Kevin Warsh as the next chairman of the Federal Reserve with a proposed term of 4 years. The White House also submitted Warsh's nomination as a member of the Federal Reserve Board to the Senate.
