The size of private equity funds has set a new historical record for four consecutive months.

With the continuous influx of incremental funds, the scale of private equity fund management has consistently reached new highs. According to the latest data released by the China Securities Investment Fund Industry Association, as of the end of January, there were 19,163 existing private equity fund managers, with a total fund management scale of 22.44 trillion yuan, an increase from the 22.15 trillion yuan at the end of 2025. It is worth noting that since the end of October 2025, the private equity management scale has achieved positive growth for four consecutive months, continuously breaking historical records. As of the end of January 2026, the scale of existing private equity securities investment funds reached 7.26 trillion yuan, achieving positive growth for multiple months following the first breakthrough of 7 trillion yuan at the end of October last year.
