Lei Jun, a national People's Congress representative and founder of Xiaomi Group, responded to the "range anxiety" of electric car owners in an interview with reporters. Lei Jun mentioned that in the past year or two, the technology of pure electric cars has developed rapidly, with the range of electric cars reaching up to 900 kilometers under CLTC conditions. "But I want to explain that CLTC is the standard test condition set by the country, and in actual use, the range will be reduced by about 20-30%." Lei Jun said, "In fact, with this range, electric cars are similar to gasoline cars."
