The 2026 Africa Energy Conference opened in Cape Town, the legislative capital of South Africa, with a focus on how Africa can promote energy transition and sustainable development. The conference, which lasts for 3 days, has attracted 15 energy ministers from over 30 African countries and over a thousand industry professionals and experts. The conference includes ministerial roundtable meetings, energy leader dialogues, special forums, and investment matching meetings. In addition, over 110 companies are participating in the energy exhibition at the conference, showcasing advanced technologies and solutions in areas such as natural gas, renewable energy, nuclear energy, power transmission and distribution, and electric transportation.
