The yield on UK 2/10 government bonds rose by about 10 basis points.

At the end of the European market on Tuesday, the yield on the 10-year UK government bond rose by 9.7 basis points to 4.471%. The yield on the 2-year UK bond also rose by 9.7 basis points to 3.734%, after opening higher and then stabilizing around 3.75% for the whole day. The yield on the 30-year UK bond rose by 9.0 basis points to 5.174%, while the yield on the 50-year UK bond rose by 8.5 basis points to 4.761%. The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year UK bonds remained roughly unchanged at +73.386 basis points.
