Tarim Oilfield cumulatively produced over 500 billion cubic meters of gas.

On the 3rd, Tarim Oilfield of China Petroleum announced that the oilfield has cumulatively produced over 500 billion cubic meters of natural gas, playing an important role in ensuring national energy security, promoting the optimization of energy structure, and facilitating green and low-carbon development. The Tarim Oilfield is a major source of gas supply for the West-East Gas Pipeline, and is also the largest ultra-deep oil and gas production base in China, providing guarantee for the domestic gas consumption of 15 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities along the downstream of the West-East Gas Pipeline.
