Pakistan claims to have killed 67 Afghan armed militants.

Pakistan's Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Ataullah Tarar, issued a statement on the 3rd saying that in military operations carried out by the Pakistani security forces in Balochistan province in the southwest and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in the northwest on the night of the 2nd, 67 Afghan militants were killed. The statement mentioned that Afghan militants engaged in firefights with Pakistani security forces at 25 locations in the northern part of Balochistan province, and the Pakistani side successfully repelled all attacks, killing 27 Afghan militants. One Pakistani border soldier was killed and five others were injured.
