On the 2nd day, the People's Government of Hainan Province signed a deepening strategic cooperation agreement with Baidu Online Network Technology Co., Ltd. in Haikou. According to the agreement, the two parties will establish a strategic cooperation coordination group based on the principles of mutual benefit, open cooperation, and long-term development, and establish a normalized, institutionalized working mechanism to explore promoting the orderly cross-border flow of data for intelligent connected vehicles, creating a highland for the intelligent connected vehicle industry ecosystem, initiating the construction of Baidu Apollo's international center for autonomous driving in the region, and building a comprehensive operation center integrating intelligent connected networks, data innovation, and distinctive cultural tourism in Hainan. They will also deepen cooperation in the field of digital economy industries, promote the quality upgrade of Hainan's digital economy system through the construction of intelligent computing infrastructure, exploring the application of large AI models, among other methods.
