Sell-off of U.S. Treasury bonds resulting in higher yields is due to the escalating conflict between the United States and Israel bombing Iran, disrupting the energy market and prompting flight of safe-haven funds. The yield on 10-year U.S. Treasury bonds rose by 0.090 percentage points to 4.051%; the yield on 2-year U.S. Treasury bonds rose by 0.108 percentage points to 3.485%.
