On March 3rd, the 15th day of the first month of the lunar calendar, also known as the Lantern Festival, the 2026 Spring Festival travel rush entered its 30th day. The Guangzhou Railway Administration is expected to send 1.377 million passengers and receive 1.436 million passengers on that day, with overall passenger traffic remaining stable. As the core hub of railway transportation in South China, Guangzhou and Shenzhen are still popular destinations for travelers returning during the Spring Festival travel rush.
