On March 3rd, it is the thirtieth day of the Spring Festival travel rush, as well as the traditional Chinese festival of Lantern Festival. According to the Shanghai Railway Administration Group Co., Ltd., the passenger flow on the railways in the Yangtze River Delta region remained stable on Lantern Festival day. On March 2nd, 2.462 million passengers were sent, and it is estimated that 2.05 million passengers will be sent today. The Group plans to add 164 additional passenger trains today, mainly for long-distance passengers from areas such as Chengdu, Changsha, Xi'an, and Zhengzhou to major cities in the Yangtze River Delta, as well as for short-distance passengers from areas such as Fuyang, Bengbu, and Xuzhou to cities such as Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Hefei.
