Shenzhen recently issued a "Notice on Further Regulating the Management of Urban Renewal Projects", which will be implemented from March 16, 2026, with a validity period of 5 years. In order to further coordinate the implementation of the "Residential Project Standards", the "Notice" on one hand targets urban renewal projects that have not completed the planning and approval of urban renewal units, and optimizes relevant urban renewal policies in accordance with the principles of "legalization and marketization" to implement the requirements of the "Residential Project Standards". On the other hand, it strengthens proactive government actions, coordinates various forces, solves key problems, actively and steadily promotes the accelerated implementation of urban renewal projects in Shenzhen, and continues to drive effective investment in real estate.
