Tsinghua team made a new breakthrough in the electrical manipulation of chiral antiferromagnetism.
Recently, the team of Song Cheng and Pan Feng from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Tsinghua University made important progress in the direction of spintronics materials and devices, achieving efficient all-electric complete flipping of chiral antiferromagnetic order. This research has bridged the gap between chiral antiferromagnetism and device applications, laying a technical foundation for the development of a new generation of magnetic storage with ultra-high density, ultra-fast read/write, and low power consumption characteristics. The relevant research findings were recently published online in Nature under the title "Zero-field complete flipping of chiral antiferromagnetic order".
