The S&P 500 index closed flat initially, with the daily consumer goods sector falling by 1.2%, the optional consumer goods sector falling by 1%, the technology sector rising by 0.9%, the industrial sector rising by 1%, and the energy sector rising by 1.8%. The Nasdaq 100 index closed up by 0.1%, with Strategy stocks up by 6.3%, Palantir up by 5.8%, Axon up by 5.6%, CrowdStrike up by 3.3%, NVIDIA up by 3%, Arm Holdings, IDXX, Marriott International, and Western Digital down by up to 3.3%, MNST, GEHC, and Seagate Technology down by up to 6.8%. Home Depot closed down by 2.7%, while 3M, Procter & Gamble, Merck, McDonald's, and Disney fell by at least 1.7%, with Exxon Mobil up by 1.5%, Honeywell up by 1.8%, and NVIDIA leading the way. The Philadelphia Bank Index rose by 0.5%.
