The journalist learned that Shandong Xianghai Titanium Resources Technology, a subsidiary of Lubo Chemical, announced on February 26 that the domestic price of chlorinated titanium dioxide would be increased by 500 yuan per ton and the international price would be increased by 100 US dollars per ton. China Nuclear Titanium Industry Co., Ltd. also issued a notice stating that from March 1, the domestic price of some CR series chlorinated titanium dioxide would be increased by 500 yuan per ton and the overseas price would be increased by 100 US dollars per ton. Chlorinated titanium dioxide is recognized as a high-end category in the market. According to data from Longzhong Information, the mainstream ex-factory prices of titanium dioxide in China are as follows: on February 28, the rutile type is 12,800-13,600 yuan/ton, the anatase type is 11,800-12,500 yuan/ton, and the chlorination method is 13,800-14,500 yuan/ton. The core reason for this round of price adjustments for titanium enterprises is the pressure of raw material costs. Data shows that on February 28, the price of 98% sulfuric acid was 1,030 yuan/ton, a sharp increase from the same period in 2025.
