HuaGong Technology held an AI strategy and new product, new scene launch event. The company stated that the world's first 3.2T NPO product independently developed by its subsidiary, HuaGong Zhengyuan, has been first applied to industry-leading customers. This breakthrough marks the formal transition of the all-optical Scale-up interconnection technology from concept validation to large-scale engineering implementation. The solution provided by HuaGong Zhengyuan includes a 3.2T NPO optical engine that meets OIF standards and a matching external light source ELSFP. The core 3.2T NPO optical engine adopts HuaGong Zhengyuan's self-developed silicon photonics technology and advanced packaging technology, achieving a transmission rate of 3.2Tbit/s for a single optical engine. The solution abandons traditional DSP chips and adopts linear direct drive technology, doubling the speed while reducing power consumption by more than 50% compared to traditional DSP solutions. The NPO product solution is rapidly gaining market favor and is expected to have large-scale commercial applications within the year.
