British Ministry of Defence: British military base in Cyprus suspected of being attacked.

The UK Ministry of Defence has stated that around midnight on March 2nd local time, the British Royal Air Force base in Cyprus was suspected to have been attacked by drones, and the armed forces have responded to the attack. The suspected attack did not cause any casualties. The UK Ministry of Defence said, "Our forces in the area have been on highest protection level, and the base has responded to defend our personnel." On the same day, strong explosion sounds were heard at the RAF Akrotiri base in southern Cyprus.
