At the Xiaopeng Second Generation VLA launch event this afternoon, Xiaopeng Motors Chairman He Xiaopeng revealed that the global large-scale road testing of the Xiaopeng Second Generation VLA is about to start. Overseas road conditions differ significantly from domestic ones, with roundabouts, cobblestone roads, irregular intersections, and complex road traffic rules becoming the focus of testing. Regarding the overseas landing time, He Xiaopeng set a clear goal: by 2027, the Xiaopeng Second Generation VLA will officially start global deliveries and engage in a head-on competition with the world's leading autonomous driving technologies in a "full blood" state. He hopes that the Second Generation VLA will help users worldwide. Currently, models equipped with the Second Generation VLA have been conducting routine L4 open road tests in Guangzhou, where they can complete the entire operation process of starting from a standstill, driving autonomously, pulling over to the curb, picking up passengers, and starting again without the need for a driver in the driver's seat or a map in the park.
