The first quarter is traditionally the off-season for the LCD TV panel market, but with the joint efforts of panel factories' production control and stabilization price strategy and the marginal improvement in end demand, the off-season is not as slow. Recently, several independent market research institutions have stated in their reports that with the continued rise in prices of storage chips and panels, TV brand manufacturers are choosing to strategically stock up in advance to prepare an adequate supply for new product launches this year. This has kept the panel purchasing volume relatively positive, and it is expected that LCD TV panel prices will continue to rise in March.
