Afghan border police spokesman said that clashes have erupted again on the border with Pakistan.
On March 1 local time, Abdullah Akab Farooqi, spokesman for the Afghan border police, stated that Afghanistan and Pakistan have once again clashed at the Torkham border crossing. He revealed that Afghan forces are using heavy weapons and laser weapons to target important locations in Pakistan, and the operation is ongoing. In addition, the Afghan Ministry of Defense stated that they launched strikes against Pakistan again that day, targeting locations such as the Nur Khan Air Base in Rawalpindi, the 12th Corps in Quetta, the Kuzuzo Camp in Mohmand District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province, and several other sites. The statement from the ministry indicated that these attacks were in retaliation for Pakistan's airstrikes on Kabul, Bagram, and other areas the previous day.
