The 34th China Import and Export Fair will open on March 1st, attracting 3,325 domestic and foreign enterprises to participate.

On March 1,2026, the 34th East China Import and Export Commodity Fair opened at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. It is understood that this East China Fair will be held from March 1 to March 4, 2026, as the "first exhibition of the Chinese foreign trade in the new year". The total exhibition area of this East China Fair reaches 115,000 square meters, covering 10 exhibition halls of the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The exhibition includes four major professional sub-exhibitions: clothing and apparel exhibition, textile fabric exhibition, household goods exhibition, and decorative gifts exhibition, as well as two major professional exhibition areas of cross-border e-commerce and overseas exhibition area. In terms of the scale of participation, this exhibition has achieved comprehensive and steady growth. The total number of booths reached 5,291, attracting 3,325 domestic and foreign companies to participate, of which 375 were foreign exhibitors, covering 14 countries and regions. Compared with the previous session, the total number of booths, the number of exhibitors, and the number of foreign exhibitors have increased by 2.88%, 2.31%, and 3.02% respectively. In terms of the invitation of buyers, the exhibition has achieved rapid growth for two consecutive sessions. It is expected that this session will welcome more than 46,000 domestic and foreign professional buyers, and the scale and industry influence of the exhibition have reached a new level. This East China Fair continues to optimize the structure of participating companies and products, gathering a group of national-level high-tech companies, specialized and innovative "small giants" companies, and leading companies in specific industries. According to the data of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Commerce, 20% of participating companies are brand companies, 19.5% of companies have patents, 8.6% of companies apply new materials and technologies, and 59 companies are specialized and innovative enterprises.
