Shenzhen: Strengthening insurance cooperation and connectivity with Hong Kong and Macau, studying the inclusion of more "Hong Kong and Macau pharmaceutical products" in the insurance coverage.

The Shenzhen Local Financial Supervision Bureau and three other departments have issued the "Shenzhen Action Plan on Insurance Industry Supporting Technological Innovation and Industrial Development". It proposes strengthening cooperation and communication between the insurance industries of Shenzhen, Hong Kong, and Macau. It supports the cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong insurance and reinsurance institutions to promote the development of medical insurance, pension insurance, and other products with characteristics of the Greater Bay Area. It supports the cooperative model of "underwriting synergy and service linkage" between Shenzhen and Hong Kong insurance institutions, facilitating healthcare and retirement for Hong Kong residents moving to Shenzhen. It also proposes including more "Hong Kong-Macau Medical Devices" products into the insurance coverage. It supports strengthened cooperation between Shenzhen medical institutions and Hong Kong insurance institutions to further facilitate insurance claims and international settlement channels in compliance with existing regulations. It also steadily promotes the pilot project for cross-border insurance funds settlement facilitation services for banking institutions.
