The UK stock market rose by more than 2% this week, while the Italian banking sector accumulated a drop of more than 2%.

The German DAX 30 index closed up 0.12% at 25318.42 points, with a weekly gain of about 0.2%. The French stock index closed down 0.16%. The Italian stock index closed down 0.41%, with the banking index falling by 2.34% and a weekly decline of about 2.5%. The British stock index closed up 0.79%, with a weekly gain of about 2.3%.
