National Medical Products Administration: A total of 457 applications for special approval of innovative medical devices have been received by 2025.

The National Medical Products Administration released the registration and approval status of innovative medical devices and other products for the year 2025. In 2025, the National Medical Products Administration will continue to carry out the review of relevant products in accordance with the "Special Review Procedures for Innovative Medical Devices" and "Priority Approval Procedures for Medical Devices." A total of 457 applications for special approval of innovative medical devices were received, of which 104 were approved to enter the special review process for innovative medical devices; 38 priority applications were received, of which 26 were approved for priority approval.
