NIO invests in establishing a battery technology company in Shanghai.

According to the QiChaCha app, recently, NIO Battery Technology Co., Ltd. was established with Zeng Shizhe as the legal representative and a registered capital of 1 billion yuan. Its business scope includes battery sales; electronic special materials research and development; graphite and carbon product sales; sales of new membrane materials; and sales of plastic products. The equity penetration of QiChaCha shows that the company is wholly owned by Shanghai NIO Automobile Co., Ltd.
