The medium-to-long-term US treasury bond yield fell by more than 3 basis points, with investors focusing on the Iran negotiations.
On Thursday, during the final trading session in New York, the yield on the 10-year US Treasury bond dropped by 3.82 basis points to 4.0136%. Between 10:00 and 11:19 Beijing time, it accelerated its decline, hitting a daily low of 4.0117%. The yield on the 2-year US Treasury bond fell by 2.86 basis points to 2.4423%, while the yield on the 30-year US Treasury bond dropped by 3.29 basis points to a daily low of 4.6643%. The yield spread between the 2-year and 10-year US Treasury bonds decreased by 0.960 basis points to +56.923 basis points. The yield on the 10-year US inflation-linked Treasury bond fell by 3.78 basis points, hitting a daily low of 1.7230%, while the yield on the 2-year TIPS fell by 5.41 basis points to 0.6494%, and the yield on the 30-year TIPS dropped by 3.06 basis points to a daily low of 2.4381%.
