On February 26th, Yangpu District in Shanghai launched the first batch of car consumption vouchers for the year 2026. Consumers can receive up to 3000 yuan in discounts through the "Understand Car Emperor" app. The total fund for the activity is 10 million yuan. Buyers must purchase fuel or new energy-powered small passenger cars that meet the National VI B emission standards from designated car retail enterprises in Yangpu District, and complete vehicle registration procedures at the Traffic Management Department of the Shanghai Public Security Bureau. The vouchers are divided into two tiers, with 2000 yuan available for cars priced between 100,000 and 300,000 yuan, and 3000 yuan for cars priced above 300,000 yuan. The activity is expected to drive new car sales to reach 900 million yuan, promoting local car consumption and economic development.
