Former Deputy Director of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Public Security Department, Mou Zongyi, is under investigation and being examined.

According to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Discipline Inspection Commission, Mu Zongyi, former member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Public Security Department of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and laws, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
