Closing Review: The ChiNext Index opened high and rose on a high volume, increasing by 1.41%. Stocks in rare earth and chemical industries continued to rally due to rising prices.
The three major A-share indexes collectively rose today, as of the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.72%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 1.29%, the ChiNext Index rose by 1.41%, and the Shanghai and Shenzhen 300 Index rose by 0.77%. The total turnover of the three markets in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing was 2,480.9 billion yuan, an increase of 262.7 billion yuan from the previous day, with more than 3,700 individual stocks rising. In terms of sector themes, the small metal, phosphorous chemical, steel, rare earth permanent magnet, battery, PCB, real estate, PET copper foil, and port shipping sectors had the largest gains; while the film and television, banking, computing power leasing, and gaming sectors had the largest declines. In the market, chemical, non-ferrous metals, rare earth and other rising price-themed stocks have collectively surged, with Chengxing shares achieving two consecutive limit-ups, and several others like Baosteel, Northern Rare Earth, Yunnan Ge Industry, and Huaxi Nonferrous achieving limit-ups. The real estate sector showed active performance, with stocks like Wuyiju and Hualiangu listed, and China City Investment Stock achieving limit-ups. In the afternoon, Shanghai announced new real estate policies. Commercial aerospace-themed stocks rose in the afternoon, with Aerospace Development hitting the limit-up, as previous reports stated that Blue Arrow Aerospace's ZHUQUE-3 will conduct recovery tests again in the second quarter of this year. In addition, the port shipping, steel, and PET copper foil sectors all performed well. On the other hand, the film and television sector continued to adjust, with Hengdian Film and Television and Bona Film Industry hitting the limit-down for two consecutive days. The computing power leasing sector also performed poorly, with Capital Online falling by 10% intraday, and companies like Wangsu Science and Technology, YoukeDe, and Qingyun Technology all falling.
