The Zhongguancun Forum annual meeting in 2026 will open in Beijing on March 25th.

Approved by the State Council, the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference will be held in Beijing from March 25th to 29th. This year's forum is jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Association for Science and Technology, and the Beijing Municipal Government. The Zhongguancun Forum is a national platform for global technological innovation exchange and cooperation in China. Founded in 2007, with "Innovation and Development" as its permanent theme, it is committed to promoting discussions on cutting-edge science and technology and future industrial development trends among countries, shaping global innovation rules and governance, sharing global innovation ideas and development concepts, and collectively driving technological innovation to inject strong impetus into the world's prosperity and development. The 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference will focus on "the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation" as the annual theme, with forums, outcome releases, technology exchanges, cutting-edge competitions, and supporting activities as the five main components. Events will include the opening ceremony and plenary meeting, parallel forums, special sessions for major achievements releases, the Zhongguancun International Technology Trade Fair, and the final of the Zhongguancun International Cutting-edge Technology Competition. Additionally, there will be activities related to science and technology culture, science popularization, and enterprise exhibitions during the conference.
