The 9-day 2026 Spring Festival holiday has ended, with both Hainan Railway and civil aviation sending over 1.9 million passengers. Data from Hainan Airport, a subsidiary of Hainan Holdings, shows that from February 15 to 23, the three major airports in Hainan Island, Haikou Meilan, Sanya Fenghuang, and Qionghai Boao, collectively processed 1.9256 million passengers, with a daily year-on-year increase of 6.0%. The cargo and mail throughput was 6,042 tons, with a daily year-on-year increase of 22.7%.
