Former deputy head of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Branch of the Export-Import Bank of China, Li Shengye, has been expelled from the party and dismissed from office.

After investigation, Li Shengye lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, resisted organizational inspection, colluded with others to fabricate the nature of money, provided false information to cover up the facts during the organization's investigation; ignored the spirit of the Central Committee's eight regulations, accepted invitations that could affect the fair execution of official duties; breached the bottom line of integrity, obtained huge returns through private borrowing; sought private gain through loans and relied on loans to survive, used his official position to help others in loan business, and opened financing guarantees, illegally accepting huge amounts of money.
