Shenzhen: By 2025, the revenue from the core industries of artificial intelligence and robots is expected to reach nearly 270 billion yuan.

On February 24, the Guangdong Province High-Quality Development Conference was held in Guangzhou. During the conference, the Mayor of Shenzhen, Qin Weizhong, revealed that the value added of strategic emerging industries in Shenzhen increased to 1.67 trillion yuan last year, accounting for 43% of the region's GDP. Shenzhen has formed one trillion-level, three 800 billion-level, three 500 billion-level, and ten 100 billion-level industrial clusters, with the core industries of artificial intelligence and robotics generating nearly 270 billion yuan in revenue. Qin Weizhong stated that emerging industries and future industries have formed a relatively good and comprehensive layout in Shenzhen, and are accelerating their development. In particular, Shenzhen has taken artificial intelligence and robotics as the new pillars of high technology, high growth, and large scale industries, promoting the development of digital intelligence integration, synergy between software and hardware, and electromechanical integration. Shenzhen is strengthening the development of domestic operating systems and full-stack controllable artificial intelligence hardware and software ecosystems, cultivating an intelligent robotics full chain industrial system covering research and development, core components and whole body manufacturing, demonstration applications, and creating a "Robot Valley" and other innovative clusters. Shenzhen has attracted over 70,000 robotics industry chain enterprises, with 7 companies selected as the top 100 humanoid robot companies worldwide.
